AUSTRALIA
Moreton Island was my first home when I came to Australia in October 2024. It is a place where, more often than not, sunsets are awe-inspiring, casting shades of gentle pastels in the clouds or bright orange that bleeds across the sky and into the ocean; the water vacillates between hues of bright blue and sea-foam green; and stars burst out at night, turning the darkness into a dazzling dreamscape. Dolphins frequent the shoreline, curlews let out their dramatic cries, and sometimes, if you're lucky, you'll see a turtle, shark, or ray swimming lazily in the warm water. My time on the island was nothing short of enchanting.
